<p>The aircraft crashed while carrying out training activities, according to a statement from the military. It said that although the reason is being looked into, there are no signs of hostile activities.</p>
<p>The command said that no further details on the individuals involved will be made public out of consideration for the families impacted.</p>
<p>What military service the aircraft belonged to wasn’t immediately apparent. In addition to the Air Force sending more squadrons to the area, the USS Gerald R Ford aircraft carrier has been conducting operations in the eastern Mediterranean while carrying a variety of aircraft.</p>
