Meets of the Lok Sabha Ethics Committee; draft report on Mahua Moitra case expected to be adopted

<p>The committee, chaired by BJP MP Vinod Kumar Sonkar, has already heard testimony from Moitra, attorney Jai Anant Dehadrai, and BJP MP Nishikant Dubey, who lodged the allegation against her.</p>
<p>The BJP MP accused Moitra of questioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Adani Group in the Lok Sabha at the request of industrialist Darshan Hiranandani in return for gifts, citing evidence that Dehadrai gave.</p>
<p>Moitra has refuted the accusation that she obtained any financial gain.</p>
