<p>In order to devise a plan of action to combat terrorism in the winter months, J&K Police, CRPF, BSF, CISF, RPF, and intelligence agencies assembled in a high-level meeting that was co-chaired by Director General of Police, RR Swain, and Director General of the CRPF, Dr. Sujoy Lal Thaosen, last evening in Srinagar.</p>

<p>A thorough evaluation of all the winter security plans was conducted during the conference. The field officers provided an update on the numerous precautions and countermeasures implemented to ensure public safety and security.</p>

<p>In order to get the intended outcomes, Swain emphasized the need for augmenting and increasing skills. He gave the order to monitor the security situation using contemporary technological instruments.</p>
<p>The DGP gave the order to expand the Dial 112 hotline in the Police Control Rooms and to assign it the role of first responder in any given circumstance. The DGP emphasized the need to continue being very watchful of the terror support ecosystem, which terrorists were using to carry out their evil plans. They also urged that every effort be made to track down suspicious components. In addition, he emphasized the need for concerted actions to destroy the network of overground workers (OGWs) and hybrid terrorists.</p>
<p>In order to prevent terror organizations from having a chance to resurface, Swain instructed the military to keep up the pressure on anti-peace elements. The officials were urged by the DGP to devise plans for strengthening the state of peace in Jammu and Kashmir.</p>
<p>The DGP warned that there will be efforts to cause unrest in this area despite the fact that the number of active terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir is at an all-time low. He oversaw a collaborative training program for staff members to address law and order scenarios.</p>
