At the AI Summit, Elon Musk tells UK PM Rishi Sunak that the day “when no jobs are needed is coming”

In an interview with UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, and X, predicted that artificial intelligence (AI) would benefit humanity and usher in an era of plenty in which there will never be a lack of products or services.<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-265379″ src=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/theindiaprint.com-at-the-leo-success-meet-actress-trisha-krishnan-embodies-elegance-in-a-red-saree-d.jpg” alt=”theindiaprint.com at the leo success meet actress trisha krishnan embodies elegance in a red saree d” width=”1302″ height=”729″ srcset=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/theindiaprint.com-at-the-leo-success-meet-actress-trisha-krishnan-embodies-elegance-in-a-red-saree-d.jpg 300w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/theindiaprint.com-at-the-leo-success-meet-actress-trisha-krishnan-embodies-elegance-in-a-red-saree-d-150×84.jpg 150w” sizes=”(max-width: 1302px) 100vw, 1302px” title=”At the AI Summit, Elon Musk tells UK PM Rishi Sunak that the day "when no jobs are needed is coming" 3″>

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the potential to be beneficial and to usher in an era of plenty in which there will never be a scarcity of products or services. However, Musk referred to the need for regulation in the Artificial Intelligence agency as “something of a magic genie problem.”

In the role of a talk show presenter, Sunak questioned Musk about the kinds of rules that the government may impose. Government involvement is beneficial when public safety is under jeopardy. Speaking on digital superintelligence, Elon Musk, the CEO of X (previously Twitter), said that if it does endanger the public, the government has a duty to protect those interests.

Musk said, “Over the years, we’ve learned that having a referee is a good thing, though it could be annoying.”

“(There would be a time when) you can have a job if you want one, but AI will be able to do everything,” he said, referring to the technology as the “most disruptive force in history” and predicting that no jobs would be required.

On the last day of the two-day summit at Bletchley Park, a debate on global regulations and an examination of the kinds of severe social, political, and technical hazards surrounding the development of artificial intelligence (AI) took place in London’s Lancaster House.

the potential for AI to be used by evil actors to create chemical and biological weapons.

According to news agency, significant tech firms and governments inked a “landmark” voluntary agreement at the conference, enabling countries, including the US, Singapore, and UK, to test their newest models for hazards to social and national security.

At the conference sponsored by the UK Prime Minister, Sam Altman’s OpenAI, Google DeepMind, Anthropic, Amazon, Mistral, Microsoft, and Meta signed the promise.

In addition, Musk founded his own AI business, xAI, in July. Artificial general intelligence, or AGI, is the term for the robots that will be built with human-level intellect. He claims that xAI seeks to “understand the true nature of the universe,” according to the study.

Musk shared a cartoon on X before to the conference that seemed to depict the US, China, Europe, and the UK underlining the dangers of artificial intelligence (AI) while also covertly claiming to be in charge of the field.

Musk said, “If they’re not participants it’s pointless,” praising the UK PM for inviting China to the AI Safety Summit. He made note of the risk that “it would just jump into the lead and exceed us all” if China did not adhere to safety promises. The meeting “will go down in history as being very important,” Musk said Sunak.
