319 metric tons of milk are produced annually in this Madhya Pradesh district

Madhya Pradesh has been a part of the white revolution for a long time. The term “white revolution” refers to an ongoing rise in milk output. In 2004, the state produced 5388 metric tons of milk annually; by 2012, that amount had risen to 8149 metric tons. In terms of milk production, Madhya Pradesh is now ranked third in India. Approximately 17,108 metric tons of milk are produced there annually. The Damoh district provides the majority of the contributions. Here, there are around 71,600 buffaloes, 2 lakh 31, 000 native cows, and 4200 hybrid cows. 319 metric tons of milk are produced annually by these cows and buffaloes. The state also provides veterinary services to livestock owners in recognition of their commitment to the White Revolution and the highest number of cows and buffaloes. There are 23 veterinary dispensaries and 29 veterinary hospitals in the state, and 15300 animals may be accommodated in each of them.<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-265436″ src=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/theindiaprint.com-see-what-analysts-say-about-suzlon-energys-5-gain-and-9-year-high-following-a-stro.jpg” alt=”theindiaprint.com see what analysts say about suzlon energys 5 gain and 9 year high following a stro” width=”1164″ height=”872″ srcset=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/theindiaprint.com-see-what-analysts-say-about-suzlon-energys-5-gain-and-9-year-high-following-a-stro.jpg 259w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/theindiaprint.com-see-what-analysts-say-about-suzlon-energys-5-gain-and-9-year-high-following-a-stro-150×112.jpg 150w” sizes=”(max-width: 1164px) 100vw, 1164px” title=”319 metric tons of milk are produced annually in this Madhya Pradesh district 3″>

Additionally, the Central Government initiated the state’s first animal ambulance service. If you need to summon an ambulance, you need to dial 1962. This has made it simpler for residents of the state to get emergency medical attention for their animals when necessary. For any wounded cow discovered in any public place or on the road, there are eight specialized ambulances available. In the area, livestock in serious condition get prompt medical attention. These ambulances are available for use in the towns of Hatta, Patera, Jabera, Tendukheda, Patharia, and Batiyagarh in addition to the district headquarters.

Nodal Officer Dr. Sanjay Pandey recently told the media that the region is home to a variety of cow varieties, including Malvi, Niwari, and Kenkatha. Four liters of milk are produced daily per cow, whereas other varieties provide six litres of milk daily. He continued by saying that every effort is being made to guarantee the wellbeing and safety of the livestock.

The Nodal Officer went on to say that the district’s buffaloes can provide eight to ten liters of milk at a time, making Damoh district one of the main producers of milk.
