<p>RAJASTHAN</p>
<p>All 76 seats for which the party has not yet announced candidates were discussed at the about ninety-minute meeting for Rajasthan. News18 was told by reliable sources that the party has selected candidates for almost 70 of these 76 seats. According to them, the remainder will be decided upon after internal deliberations, and no more CEC sessions will be necessary.</p>
<p>The BJP’s core committee meeting earlier on Tuesday started at Nadda’s house and lasted into the wee hours of the morning.</p>
<p>The saffron party has filed seven Members of Parliament in Rajasthan, including Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Diya Kumari, Baba Balaknath, and others. Another significant event is that it is unlikely that any more MPs would be fielded for the assembly elections that take place next month. This revelation broke concurrently with widespread anticipation that the saffron party might run state agriculture minister Kailash Choudhary and union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in the state elections.</p>
<p>In the two lists that have been made public, the saffron party has so far declared candidates for 124 of the 200 assembly seats. The BJP is expected to reveal the third list of candidates in the next 24 to 48 hours. The last day to submit nominations is November 6, and Rajasthan will hold a single-phase election on November 25. The opposition leader Rajendra Rathore and former chief minister Vasundhara Raje have been granted tickets by the saffron party on the lists that have been made public so far.</p>
<p>TELANGANA</p>
<p>For the BJP, which is frantically attempting to establish itself in southern India, the fight for Telangana is particularly important. The party is not in power in any southern state after the recent scandal in Karnataka.</p>
<p>53 of the 119 assembly seats have candidates declared by the BJP. According to sources, the party discussed all of the open seats at the meeting on Wednesday. The party is anticipated to name candidates for the remaining seats over the following several days, with the exception of 10 to 15 districts.</p>
<p>It is also expected that the BJP would shortly announce its alliance with Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena in the state. After meeting BJP leader Amit Shah last week, Kalyan and Shah spoke about forming an alliance in the state, which already has a partnership in Andhra Pradesh. It is expected that Pawan Kalyan’s party would get between 8 and 10 seats in the Telangana legislature from the BJP’s quota, even though the formal alliance announcement and seat-sharing announcements have not yet been made.</p>
<p>The BJP has nominated Raja Singh, who was previously suspended but had that decision restored, as one of its candidates in Telangana. Arvind Dharmapuri, a member of the Lok Sabha, and former state unit president Bandi Sanjay Kumar are among the other politicians who received tickets. Kishan Reddy, a union minister, was appointed Telangana’s state president recently and has decided not to run for office again. According to insiders, DK Aruna, whose name has been making the rounds, is also not expected to participate in the state elections.</p>
<p>Telangana is one of the last five states to cast ballots for the November 30 election.</p>
<p>The saffron party has a lot riding on the state elections to take place next month. The Congress is in charge of Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, while the BJP rules Madhya Pradesh. In Telangana, there is a triangular conflict among the BJP, Congress, and Bharat Rashtra Samithi. Currently serving as the head of the Telangana government is BRS. In the National Democratic Alliance-ruled northeastern state of Mizoram, the BJP is also running for many seats.</p>
<p>On December 3, the results of the five state elections will be announced. This state-by-state struggle is seen to be a prelude to the grand finale of the Lok Sabha elections in 2024.</p>
