<p>The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has declared that on April 28, 2024, it would administer the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2023. Exam dates are available for candidates to see on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. The board will shortly release the whole calendar, including the date of the online application procedure.</p>

<p>Every year, WBJEE is conducted to determine which students will be admitted to undergraduate programs in engineering and technology, pharmacy, and architecture at various government colleges, universities, and self-financing engineering and technological institutes in West Bengal for the 2023–2024 academic year.</p>
<p>WBJEE 2024: APPLYING</p>
<p>Step 1: Visit wbjeeb.nic.in, the official website of WBJEEB.</p>
<p>Step 2: Look for and choose the “Apply for WBJEE 2024” link on the home page.</p>
<p>Step 3: Complete the application form as instructed when the new page appears.</p>
<p>Step 4: After that, submit the relevant files and make the appropriate payment.</p>
<p>Step 5: Check it out and send in the application.</p>
<p>Step 6: Print the WBJEE 2024 form out for your records.</p>
<p>Application fees for WBJEE</p>
<p>A 500 rupee application fee must be paid by applicants in the general category. However, those who fall under the SC, ST, or OBC categories must pay Rs 400.</p>
<p>The WBJEE is administered in two shifts, in the morning and afternoon, using pen and paper. There will be 200 marks total for the multiple-choice (MCQ) portion of the test. According to the marking system, there are 40 questions in each of the physics and chemistry parts, and 75 questions in the mathematics exam. Certain questions were worth one mark, while others were worth two.</p>
<p>Every paper falls into three groups. For every correct response in the first category, one mark will be given, and for every incorrect attempt, one-fourth of a point will be subtracted. In the second category, applicants will get two points for each right response, with one and a half marks being subtracted for incorrect responses. The third category has no negative marking.</p>
