<p>A guy from Gaya, Bihar, was taken into custody by the Mumbai Crime Branch. <p>With assistance from the Gaya police, the Mumbai police apprehended Rahul Kumar on Tuesday from his home village of Simru, which is within the jurisdiction of the Gurua police station.</p>
<p>Thirteen ATM cards, passbooks, and checkbooks from several banks were found to be in his hands. Once the legal procedures were fulfilled, he was turned over to the Mumbai police, according to the police.</p>
<p>Ashish Bharti, the senior superintendent of police (SSP) for Gaya, said on Wednesday that Rahul and a few other individuals ran Bombay International Consultancy, an unlawful employment service, out of a building on Mumbai’s Shaheed Bhagat Singh Road.</p>
<p>He has defrauded several young people, making large sums of money pretending to provide them lucrative positions abroad by forging appointment letters, passports, and visas.</p>
<p>Rahul and his colleagues were the subject of a fraud and deceit case filed by the Mumbai police under sections 420, 465, 467468, 471, and 120 B of the Indian Penal Code as well as section 10/24 of the Immigration Act.</p>

<p>After getting in touch with the Gaya SSP, the Mumbai police sent a Crime Branch team to Gaya on Tuesday. With the assistance of the Gurua SHO Kanhaiya Kumar-led Gaya police special squad, they apprehended Rahul and, after obtaining a transit remand from the local court, transported him to Mumbai.</p>
