“If we return to power, my government will offer additional guarantees like free laptops and tablets to first-year college students, disaster relief insurance of Rs 15 lakh, livestock guarantee on the lines of Chhattisgarh, and buying cow dung at Rs 2 per kg,” he stated during a press conference held at the party office here.

“The Congress will also bring old pension law for government employees and guarantee English-medium education to students,” he said.

Gehlot responded to remarks made by his colleague from Chhattisgarh, Bhupesh Baghel, stating that “ED is more on the prowl than dogs,” by saying, “It is unfortunate that the chief minister of an election-going state had to say this.” What possible catastrophe could this be for any nation more than this?

He also criticized his political opponents for focusing on the establishment party. He stated, “I am angry that the Congress kept the country united for 76 years,” in a caustic tone. Both Rajiv and Indira Gandhi died as martyrs. You are attempting to obliterate the memory of those who gave their lives in defense of the nation.

Several cabinet ministers, state president Govind Singh Dotasara, and state in-charge of Rajasthan, Sukhjinder Randhawa, were also present at the meeting.

Gehlot unveiled two plans for women on Wednesday. He claimed that as part of the Grah Laxmi Guarantee, the female head of every household in Rajasthan will get Rs 10,000 annually, to be paid in two or three payments. For the price of Rs 500, 1.04 crore households would get LPG cylinders. Under the state’s Ujjwala plan, cylinders are now being provided to 76 lakh households for Rs 500.

Results of the November 25 election for the 200-member Rajasthan Assembly will be announced on December 3.
