<p>“Three persons lost their lives in the stampede event, while ten more sustained injuries. The wounded individuals are now safe, however. A committee has been formed to look into the situation. Speaking to the media in Gopalganj, Bihar, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Nawal Kishore Choudhary stated that the committee will conduct its investigation under the direction of the SDM.</p>
<p>To prevent any unfortunate situations on the occasion of “Vijaya Dashmi,” a chart route has been devised. The area has a significant police presence, he said.</p>
<p>A stampede at a packed pandal in Gopalgunj, Bihar, on Monday late evening claimed the lives of two women and a child and wounded over ten others in a heartbreaking tragedy during the Durga Puja festivities.</p>
<p>According to authorities, the rush started at the Raja Dal Durga Puja pandal during the festivities for “Maha Navami.”</p>
<p>According to the police, the pandal-hoppers who were hurt were taken to Sadar Hospital since there was no security presence at the pandal to control the masses, which contributed to the stampede.</p>
<p>The Raja Dal Puja Pandal gate was the scene of a stampede at 8.30 p.m., according to the Gopalganj SP in a statement to ANI. As the revelers raced helter-skelter, a toddler fell to the ground and was trampled. In their haste to save the youngster, two mothers were crushed by the mob as well. While being transported to a hospital, the lady begged for breath and passed away. When a police squad and the local magistrate arrived, they took charge of the situation.</p>
<p>According to police authorities, the disaster occurred because of an overabundance of people at the Puja pandal’s entrance.</p>
