The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have dropped posters in Gaza telling Sabrah neighborhood residents to leave the area immediately or risk being labeled “a partner” of the terrorist group. This comes as the UN organizations have warned that the Israeli decision to evacuate all 1.1 million residents of northern Gaza would result in a humanitarian calamity.<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-248639″ src=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/theindiaprint.com-heinrich-klaasen-apologizes-after-celebrating-in-front-of-mark-wood-saying-hit-me-.jpg” alt=”theindiaprint.com heinrich klaasen apologizes after celebrating in front of mark wood saying hit me” width=”1304″ height=”730″ srcset=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/theindiaprint.com-heinrich-klaasen-apologizes-after-celebrating-in-front-of-mark-wood-saying-hit-me-.jpg 300w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/theindiaprint.com-heinrich-klaasen-apologizes-after-celebrating-in-front-of-mark-wood-saying-hit-me–150×84.jpg 150w” sizes=”(max-width: 1304px) 100vw, 1304px” title=”Israel's military drops flyers in the Sabrah neighborhood of Gaza with a "Urgent Warning" 6″>

“Serious caution! To the Gaza Strip’s citizens. Your life is in danger since you are in Wadi Gaza to the north. According to a CNN translation of the IDF leaflet, “Everyone who chooses not to evacuate from the north of the strip to the south of Wadi Gaza might be considered as a partner for the terrorist organization.” The IDF reacted by claiming that the translation given by the American news network that was being distributed online was inaccurate.

Israeli bombings continued to target southern Gaza, which had grown significantly as a result of residents being directed there by Israel from the north. As part of its preparation for the next phase of its campaign against Hamas, Israel, according to a military spokeswoman, intended to intensify its strikes beginning on Saturday.

The IDF is still advising northern Gaza residents to leave “for their own safety.” The military said that, in contrast to the flyer, “no intention exists to consider those who have not evacuated from the affected area of fighting as members of the terrorist group.” Additionally, the Israeli military said that it “treats civilians as such, and does not target them.”

The conflict, which took place two weeks ago, was the fifth and worst in Gaza for both sides. The Gaza Health Ministry, which is controlled by Hamas, said on Saturday that there had been 4,385 fatalities and 13,561 injuries. Israel has seen more than 1,400 fatalities, the majority of which occurred during the first strike on October 7 when Hamas fighters seized the country. During the assault, Hamas is said to have detained up to 203 individuals, who they then transported to Gaza.

Two weeks after Hamas rampaged across southern Israel and Israel reacted with bombs, aid has started to enter the restricted Gaza Strip. Two American captives who had been detained in Gaza since the commencement of the conflict have subsequently been released by Hamas.
